Anovaty, with Self Directed, Headfirst and Misanthropy. Tonight, 6:30 pm. Gifts of Mercy Emporium, 452 Parramatta Road, Petersham. Four acts, early start, twelve doors from Jura.
David McCormack's TRS80, with Maps End. Tonight, 8 pm to 11 pm. PBC, 18+. The Custard frontman and the voice of Bandit in Bluey. TRS80 got together at a Brisbane studio in January and cut six songs in four hours, which became the EP 'No Context For Old Men'.
Our Friends Electric. Saturday, September 19, 2026, 12 pm to 11 pm. PBC. Eleven hours, two stages, fourteen acts, run by a DIY electronic music zine. Scraps, Vacuum, Horse Macgyver, Andrew George, California Girls, Close Contact, Astrid, A Romano, Elmo Aoyama, Cottage Hag, Jason Boltex, Day Job DJs, Patty's Toybox b2b Blossom Legacy and Perfect Actress.
The Dulwich Hill Festival. Sunday, September 20, 2026, 11 am to 4 pm. Marrickville Road and Seaview Street, Dulwich Hill. Free. Three stages, a workshop tent, and a masterclass stage where you can learn knafeh with Abla's Pastries at 1:30 pm or pizza and focaccia with Deli-Xioso at 3 pm. Walk-ins only, capped between fifteen and twenty-five people, so get there early.
One Last Roar. Saturday, September 19, 2026, 12:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Leichhardt Oval, Mary Street, Lilyfield. It's free and open to all ages, but you need a ticket, and prices went up in July, so grab one before you go.
Plant Bingo. Sunday, September 20, 2026, 4 pm to 6 pm. PBC. It's bingo. You win plants.
03 — Council Watch
Council is holding a Rally for Multiculturalism. Sunday, October 18, 2026, 12 pm to 2 pm. Ashfield Park. Free, with speakers, live music, cultural performances, kids' entertainment and a free BBQ.
