03 — The Newcomer(ish)
Young Henrys is moving onto King Street. After almost 15 years on Wilford Street, the brewery is taking over Mountain Goat's old brewpub on King Street, Newtown. 155 seats, 12 taps, a small brewhouse for one-off beers, and a kitchen run by Plate It Forward, the people behind Colombo Social and Kyiv Social. Due late October. Marrickville's Ester Spirits takes over the old Wilford Street shed next year.
04 — Awesome Local Stuff 4 Sale
"Melford", 50 Cavendish Street, Stanmore. A double-fronted house from around 1880, north-facing, on one of Stanmore's leafier streets. Four bedrooms plus a home office, original Jarrah floors, fireplaces, and a hedged backyard. The guide is $4 million.
